Greek authorities have located two large objects in a sea region south of the Aegean island of Karpathos, near the location where an EgyptAir passenger jet was last detected.

The plane, which was headed from Paris to Cairo, disappeared from radar screens in the early morning hours within the Cairo FIR zone, minutes after exiting the Athens FIR.

The missing EgyptAir passenger jet swerved 90 degrees to the left and then turned 360 degrees in a right direction before diving 22,000 feet and disappearing from Greek radar screens and while flying in the Cairo FIR.
Flight MS804 carried 66 passengers and crew. It is believed to have crashed into the sea south of the southeast Aegean island of Karpathos.
